Welcome to Eviction.Law, operated by Eviction.Law, Inc. (“Eviction.Law,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a technology company that powers the eviction management platform used by JZ Law Group, P.C., a professional law corporation. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to the following Terms of Service (“Terms” or “Agreement”). If you do not agree, please do not use this website or any services offered.

1. Relationship Between Parties

Eviction.Law, Inc. is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, representation, or services.

All legal work — including legal advice, document review, filings, and court representation — is performed solely by JZ Law Group, P.C. (“JZ Law Group”), a professional law corporation licensed to practice law.

Eviction.Law provides only technology, software tools, hosting, and customer support to facilitate your interactions with JZ Law Group.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities

You must be at least 16 years old to use our platform. By registering for an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is complete and accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and all activity under your account. Eviction.Law is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by your failure to maintain account security.

3. Services Overview

Eviction.Law provides access to software that allows landlords, property managers, and attorneys to generate, track, and manage eviction-related documents.

All legal services accessed through this platform are rendered exclusively by JZ Law Group, P.C., under a separate attorney–client relationship governed by the Firm’s engagement terms.

4. Payments and Billing

All payments made through the platform are for technology and administrative processing only, unless otherwise specified by JZ Law Group.

Payment processing may be facilitated through third parties such as Stripe or PayPal.

Eviction.Law, Inc. does not collect or store payment card details directly.

Refunds are subject to the policies of JZ Law Group, P.C. and/or the payment processor.

5. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and completeness of all information you submit through the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Tenant and property details

  • Lease terms and payment histories

  • Notice timing and statutory compliance

Eviction.Law does not review or verify your entries for legal accuracy. JZ Law Group relies on your provided information to prepare and file legal documents.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, text, graphics, and materials available through the platform are the intellectual property of Eviction.Law, Inc.

Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform materials except as expressly authorized.

Legal content and filings prepared by JZ Law Group remain the property of the law firm or the client, as governed by attorney–client terms.

7. Privacy and Data Handling

Your data may be shared between Eviction.Law, Inc. (technology provider) and JZ Law Group, P.C. (law firm) as necessary to fulfill services.

Eviction.Law adheres to strict data security standards, including encryption and role-based access control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Eviction.Law, Inc. shall have no liability for any damages, losses, or legal outcomes related to eviction proceedings or filings.

  • Any legal obligations or liabilities arising from the rendering of legal services are solely those of JZ Law Group, P.C.

  • Eviction.Law is not responsible for errors in user-provided information, rejected filings, missed deadlines, or court outcomes.

  • Total liability of Eviction.Law, if any, shall not exceed the technology service fees paid within the past twelve (12) months.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eviction.Law, Inc., its affiliates, officers, employees, and contractors from any claims or damages arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the platform,

  • Incorrect or misleading information submitted by you, or

  • Any legal proceeding arising from your inputs or documents generated via the platform.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes involving Eviction.Law, Inc. shall be resolved exclusively in Los Angeles County, California.

Disputes involving JZ Law Group, P.C. are governed by the attorney–client agreement between you and the Firm.

11. Termination

Eviction.Law may suspend or terminate access to the platform for any user who violates these Terms or applicable law.

Upon termination, your personal account data may be deleted; however, record data (e.g., notice logs) may be retained for compliance or evidentiary purposes.

12. Modifications to the Terms

Eviction.Law may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
